Stiff Goldenrod (Solidago rigida)

This goldenrod is a beauty with large basal leaves and showy bright yellow flowerheads. Attractive to butterflies and an important late season food source for birds. Dried flowerheads go well in flower arrangements. Widely adaptable and drought tolerant.
