Beautiful Sunflower (Helianthus laetiflorus)

This is one of the largest and showiest prairie sunflowers. Its bright yellow petals and dark brown centers create a beautiful garden display. Butterflies will visit and birds will feast on the seeds. It needs lot of room as it spreads quickly by rhizomes.
