Culver's Root (Veronicastrum virginicum)
This rare prairie beauty bears spikes of dainty white and mauve flowers. Very attractive to bees and butterflies. Culver's Root goes very nice with Big Bluestem, Switch Grass, Indian Grass, Helenium, Narrow Leaved Sunflower and New England Aster.
