Coriandrum sativum. Native to southern Europe, it was brought to Britain by the Romans, and has been cultivated as an aromatic spice since ancient times. It carries delicate umbrels of flowers that are pale mauve and white – very pretty. The whole plant is edible – leaves, stems and seeds. Ht: 1’ to 2’. Part sun – requires shade from summer sun.
