Blue Eyed Grass (Sisyrinchium montanum)
Low growing with narrow leaves that appear grass-like with brilliant blue star-shaped flowers. Is actually a member of the iris family. A very useful ground cover, it prefers partial shade. Has numerous, small, tidy flowers appearing from spring into mid-summer. It works well in containers, and it looks amazing in mass plantings.
