Watermelon, Cream of Saskatchewan
An heirloom brought by Russian immigrants to Saskatchewan many years ago. The productive, drought tolerant vines produce melons with very thin rinds and do not store for very long. The fruit can grow to 20 pounds., but are usually in the 10-12 pounds. range. The pale yellow flesh is absolutely delicious and sweet. Highly recommended! (80-85 days)
