Fringed Brome is a coarse, loosely tufted perennial that grows between 4 feet tall. It is a non-rhizomatous erect bunchgrass that reproduces through seeds only. Has long, green-yellow-green blades with a prominent, whitish midvein extending part way down the sheath.
