It is one of the last natives blooming late into fall. As a biennial, it grows during the first year and completes its life cycle during the second, but will re-seed. Known for their lemon-scented, large yellow flowers and vibrant leaves. The flowers bloom continuously from early summer to fall, opening in the evening until late morning.
